Leinæs & Partners asked us for assistance for their existing office in Dr. Holms vei. The office has been in the family for several generations and the client wanted the office to get a little updated in relation to the interior. Existing rooms were to be retained, as well as the entrance door.
Office row to the left of the entrance, originally with sliding doors, was proposed changed to a newer system with normal doors. The main reason was to prevent noise. The inner office has a polygonal solution today, which prevents light into the room from a window in the facade. Our proposal is to change this room, which will help the light flow into the room.
New carpet tiles in brown-black, which will replace / hide the outdated ceramic tiles. This will also help with the acoustics of a busy broker office. All the walls, the ceiling will be re-painted, in various shades of beige and brown. Skirtings and cornices shall be installed where they lacks today.
Reception area: New desk was drawn and it is place in front of a solid wall. This wall will be covered with cork laminate to provide a wooden wall feel and structure. This will give a little more ‘luxury’ feeling when one enters the room. The existing sign with the logo can be retained and reinstalled after the wall is done.
A little seating area was also proposed.
